Derivation Learning Method Using the Book al-Amṡilah at-Taṣrifiyah for Arabic Language Education Students at UIN Fatmawati Bengkulu

The word is highly significant in language, both spoken and written. To understand a word, students should be aware of the origin of the word and its various forms. In this regard, one of the reference books used by students for this purpose is the book al-Amṡilah at-Taṣrifiyah. This article aims to explore how the learning of word derivation takes place among students at UIN Bengkulu using the book al-Amṡilah at-Taṣrifiyah. The writing method employed in this article is a qualitative case study with data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources are from lecturers and several students at UIN Fatmawati Bengkulu. In this research, data will be analyzed using the interactive analysis approach developed by Miles and Huberman. This approach involves stages such as data collection, data simplification, data presentation, and conclusion extraction. The research results indicate that this learning method is highly suitable for providing students at UIN Fatmawati Bengkulu with an understanding of word derivation. The use of the al-Amṡilah at-Taṣrifiyah book as the main reference provides a strong theoretical foundation for learning, while the teaching method adds an interactive dimension that motivates students. The implications of this research can serve as a reference for the development of more innovative and contextual learning methods in Arabic language education.
