Analysis of The Arabic Language Textbook for The Sixth Grade in Primary School at The Tarigan Theory

The textbook is a guide to daily practice for teachers, provides essential learning materials and can affect learning progress. Where the publisher is free to determine the educational objectives that are specified in the educational materials to be used. Textbook is the most influential media in learning. The quality of education is determined through textbooks. With this, the textbook is a crucial matter that must have good quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the Arabic textbooks of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia through the Directorate General of Islamic Education which is based on the theory of tarigan. This study is used with a qualitative approach and the method used is the library lesson the results of the study are 1) the textbooks are relevant to the curriculum, 2) the language used is communicative, 3) the material does not show a connection with other subjects, 4) the textbooks are interesting to read, 5) the pictures in the books are very creative and motivating students to continue learning, 6) the textbooks in it already show things related to respecting differences, 7) the textbooks have given good values in life.
