A Qur’anic Perspective on Teachers and Students

Abstract
This article explores the roles of teachers and students from the perspective of the Qur’an, which is the primary guide for Muslims. Using qualitative methods and a literature study approach, this research examines relevant Qur’anic verses and scholars’ views on education. The results show that teachers play a significant role in shaping the character and personality of students, while students are expected to seek knowledge with sincere intentions. This study concludes that the relationship between teachers and students should be based on strong Islamic values. Recommendations include continuous training for teachers and increasing student awareness of the importance of knowledge in Islam.
